I create works intended to be beautiful, decorative and
    exuding
positive energies.  These works are most suitable for your
home, your office or welcoming corporate
spaces.  If you like the styles in my galleries, you might select to purchase a work from current inventory or commission a new work.  Thank you for taking a look.

The overriding concept of my work is an unbending faith in cycles.  Despite stark encounters inherent in the human condition, we can repeatedly find the will to move forward into renewal as time between events passes.  I strive to express the beauty of deep cyclical feelings by employing bold color, fluid line and tactile texture.  Beauty, however, will always be defined by, and its presence or absence will be determined by each individual viewing the work.  Ideally a viewer of my work experiences a very personal connection to the layers, shapes and textures.  Subsequent observations may reveal nuances not experienced initially.  Ultimate success is a transmission of a sense of well being.

My completed works interpret visual cues from landscapes in aquatic, neurological, microscopic or cosmic worlds.  Reflective of nature, reflective of internal feelings while building layers of color on the surface, many of my works are about specific people who have touched me as they passed through this life.  Curvilinear shapes of swirls, coils, circles are prevalent.  The swirl is an evolving metaphor for the expression of a range of complex human emotions tied into devastating loss, sadness, anticipation, pleasure, resolution, rejuvenation and enlightenment.  Alternately, the coil often becomes a playful interactive shape juxtaposed with open circles, closed circles, dots and neuron-like links.  Connections both intact and broken are indicated.

I favor serene palettes of cool blues and greens punctuated by brilliant white tones and complementary warm tones.  However, many works do break out to extremely warm surfaces of reds, golds or oranges, complemented by cooler tones.  As my future plays out through ever changing palettes, I hope to experience and successfully express the intense beauty of many, many more cycles.  The viewer can be the judge.
